Let us describe Intercultural Management Competence by using the metaphor of a house:

Each stable house needs a solid foundation. In our case this ground floor consists of three components:
  • General management competence with basic knowledge in the areas of leadership, processes and the industry
  • General cultural competence, especially with regards to your own culture as well as the specific cultures of customers, partners or employees
  • Extensive interpersonal skills.
From here we are building the next floor of our house. In this level we are focusing on the interaction between the three components of our foundation mentioned above with
  • Intercultural leadership skills
  • Skills in intercultural project and change management
  • Skills in pragmatic courses of action in an intercultural management setting.
Finally our house needs a roof. Our roof consists of the optimization of individual behavior in concrete intercultural management situations. This optimization is adapted to each individual client in specific training or coaching sessions.
